Navigation Studio

The one menu every page shows, managed here — reorder sections and modules, rename labels, move a module to another group, choose who sees what, and hide items. Expand a module () to edit its pages and dropdown children (rename · reorder · hide · add) and its page header (icon + subtitle shown on every page of that module). Changes save to the live nav tree and /pure-home reflects them immediately. No code edits.

How this is managed. Edits write an override to the canonical tree via PureNavTree.saveOverride() — persisted to pure.nav.override.v1 and pushed to mcp_nav_set when the RPC is live (fail-soft). Every shell that mounts PureNav reads PureNavTree.resolved(), so the same change lands site-wide — including page renames, hidden pages, added L3 children, and header icon/subtitle. Base tree lives in pure-nav-tree.js and hydrates from the DB (mcp_nav_modules); role visibility also honors pure_module_settings. Reset removes the override and restores the shipped tree. ⬆ Publish to DB (canon) — the gold top-bar button (Lane B, 7/3) — upserts the resolved tree into pure_nav_modules via mcp_nav_publish, making edits live for everyone; page renames/order/hides publish, added L3 children stay local until the DB grows kids schema (t-nav-db-sync).
