Poppy rides along on every page you browse — Point & Ask, address-bar search, right-click answers. You load it once. Here's exactly how, with a video you can scrub step-by-step. No tech background needed.
Poppy is a real Chrome extension. Until it's listed on the Chrome Web Store (one-click, auto-updating — scoped below), you load it yourself once. It's genuinely quick, and after this you never do it again.
Download, unzip, and point Chrome at the folder. Five clicks, ~90 seconds. Follow the steps below — the video mirrors them exactly.
One "Add to Chrome" button, auto-updates, easy pin — no developer mode. This is the real fix for everyone after you; it's on the 3.1 roadmap (see below).
Click any chapter to jump the video to that exact moment — and the matching written step lights up below. Drop the recorded walkthrough in when it's ready; the chapter markers are already aligned to the steps.

Each step shows the one thing to click. The grey illustration is what Chrome looks like — your own screenshot can replace it, and the steps are plain text you can edit anytime.
Click Download Poppy at the top — you get poppy-extension.zip. Double-click it to unzip. Inside is one folder named extension. That folder is what Chrome needs.
In Chrome's address bar type chrome://extensions and press Enter. Top-right, flip Developer mode on. (This just lets you load a folder — it's safe; you can turn it back off after.)

Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's top-right, find Poppy for PURE, and click the pin beside it. Now Poppy's bloom sits in your toolbar — one click, always there.
Click the Poppy bloom for the Ask box. Or type poppy + space in the address bar and ask. Or right-click any text Ask Poppy. On any PURE page, grab the Point & Ask pill — and now you can drag it wherever you like so it never covers your work.

When you ask from the popup, the address bar, or a right-click, Poppy opens Poppy Search (poppy-search.html) with a written answer plus the exact sources it used. That's the intended landing — one box, every source, answered and cited. For a quick in-place answer without leaving the page, the inline answer card is on the 3.1 list so simple questions can resolve right in the popup.
Old builds loaded twice (the page copy and the browser copy didn't know about each other). Fixed in 3.1 — there's now exactly one. Reload the extension on chrome://extensions to get the new build.
It used to sit below some page panels. Fixed in 3.1 — the pill now sits above everything, and you can drag it anywhere.
The toolbar popup now reads the live PURE brand and matches the current version automatically. Fixed in 3.1 — reload the extension once to pick it up.
That's the old package. Remove it and load the new extension folder (now 3.1) using the steps above — then pin it again.
Loading a folder is fine for us testing now, but every future teammate and client should just click Add to Chrome. That means publishing Poppy to the Chrome Web Store: it auto-updates, pins in one tap, and needs no developer mode.
